Dhokra masks are unique and captivating pieces of art crafted using the ancient lost-wax casting technique. This traditional Indian art form involves creating intricate designs in wax, covering them with clay, and then heating them to melt the wax and fill the mold with molten metal, typically brass or bronze. Once cooled, the clay mold is broken away to reveal the intricate metal casting.
